Talib Type™ Family

[ 2008 // Typeface ]

Talib – intercultural type research is a project dealing with the hybridization of Latin and Arabic typographic forms, exploring the effect of globalization on contemporary graphic design. Over the course of the project, we created three fonts based on three different Arabic styles which influenced or inspired us the most: Naskh (OldStyle), Kufi (Kulkufi) and the modern Arabic fonts (mohandes).
